Welcome to 5 Kingdoms Sailing Club

5KSC is the Northern Yacht Division of the Civil Service Sailing Association (CSSA).

We are based in Liverpool and offer low-cost sailing opportunities to Civil Servants, employees of privatised former government departments - and their families and friends. We also provide RYA practical training and examinations.

During the autumn, winter and early spring we race and day sail on the river Mersey and  organise weekend trips to North Wales, the Isle of Man or Cumbria. During late spring and in the summer we cruise the Irish Sea and the beautiful West Coast of Scotland.

New faces are always welcome – regardless of experience. If you are new to sailing, or just want to have a go, why not try one of our Taster Sails.

Who can sail with 5KSC?

• Members of the CSSA :- membership open to anyone who is eligible for membership of the CSSC. Those holding Membership Plus in the CSSC (formerly two share membership) can become full members of the CSSA at no further charge.
• Non-members of the CSSA: - can also sail with 5KSC, but there is an additional charge of £5 per day. (£2.50 per day for standard members of the CSSC). For an annual fee, Associate membership of the CSSA is available - the applicant must be sponsored by one of the divisions or clubs (eg 5KSC) that form the CSSA.
