Hide Hollow is just a short walk beside the tidal foreshore of the Teign estuary to the quaint village of Shaldon.   The port of Teignmouth is just across the bridge, Newton Abbot is five miles to the west and Torquay is eight miles south. The South West Coastal Path is almost within hailing distance and Dartmoor is a 25-minute drive away.   But here in Hide Hollow, it's quite blissfully peaceful.

Come and hide at Hide Hollow bed and breakfast in Shaldon where the only sound you'll hear is birdsong by day, owls and nightingales by night and the babble of the brook that courses though our garden.  Enjoy an early evening drink on your private patio. Stroll into Shaldon village for a meal and a drink, with a choice of ten hostelries.  Or explore the beautiful Ringmore valley with its winding lanes and footpaths.  Relax. Forget the car. We liked it so much we came to live here.
